USED BAYONET M1853 BRITISH ENFIELD

Description

Original British M1853 socket bayonet for the M1853 rifled musket (Also fits the Snider 3-band). Not British government marked, possibly indicating it was sent to the US during the Civil War. Socket has a bit of surface rust, and is stamped “85” over “175”. Scabbard is solid and in very good condition.
